All Pitch Data is from 2019-June 2021*

How Team Pages Work

These represent the ranges of spin rates for the specific pitch

The numbers in the boxes are the percentage that the pitch is thrown there within that spin rate range

The color of the box correlates to the percentage:

0-5% - Red

5-7% - Yellow

>7% - Green

The top number indicates how many pitches were thrown within that range.

The bottom number is the percentage relative to total pitches in all three ranges.

What is wOBA?

Weighted on-base average is a more accurate and effective way to measure performance.

* The values associated with each hit changes every year so we average all the years that the player has been in the MLB
